September 2025

At TG0550, which is supported by Aventura Maryland Oaks, children celebrate the new year in January. They are excited for all the new opportunities and open doors that Compassion’s program will bring.

Thank you, Aventura Family.

You are helping the local church bring light into the lives of children facing hardship. Thank you for your faithful commitment to releasing children from poverty in Jesus’ name.

Compassion’s program fosters a safe environment for children to laugh and play under the care of their tutors. Games, dancing and play are important for children’s healthy socio-emotional development. Here, children at TG0182, which is supported by Aventura Forest Park, have fun together during free time during a center day.

At TG0612, which is supported by Aventura Hawk Ridge, 155 children are registered in Compassion’s program to date. This church’s priorities are to improve families’ livelihoods, engage with the community and provide more educational opportunities for youth.

My favorite activities at the center are playing hide-and-seek and singing with my friends. Thanks to the program, I learned that God loves me and that I resemble him. I would like to become a nurse to work in my community and help those who are poor when I grow up.

A Letter From Pastor Kekeli at TG0290

Dear Friends,

The entire center committee, the participants, their parents and the entire local church join me in sending you our warmest thanks for your support of our center. It is our great joy to express to you, through this letter, our gratitude and appreciation for the financial support you have kindly provided to launch activities at our child and youth development center.

I am grateful for everything we have accomplished at our church, and the program has raised our position in the community. Indeed, your gift has enabled us to renovate our space for participants; purchase office supplies; acquire a height gauge and scale to conduct growth monitoring; construct workers’ offices; pay their salaries; buy a phone to take photos; purchase a computer and Wi-Fi modem; buy kitchen utensils; install solar power; and take care of the daily needs of the center and our children. These things have helped us achieve a lot.

In addition, the curriculum contributes to the holistic development of the participants. The staff can now carry out many activities, such as developing participants’ talents in several areas (Bible games, soccer, art and public speaking). The program intends to enhance its work in several areas, including income-generating activities for parents and youth participants, mobilization of local resources, evangelism events and many other activities that will contribute to the overall development of the community.

Once again, many thanks for all you have done for the center, and may the Lord fill you with his grace. Your support has helped create a structured and secure space for the participants we support. Every gesture on your part has resulted in work on the ground, and we are deeply grateful for your commitment to us.

With kindest regards,

Pastor Kekeli, TG0290

Participants Share Their Gratitude

A child at TG0550, supported by Aventura Maryland Oaks, drew a mango tree and wrote a thank you message for you.

A child at TG0731, supported by Aventura Town Centre, drew this sheep and wrote “Merci,” translated as “thanks” to show appreciation for your generosity.

I trust that you and your family are doing great. The sponsored children, the church and I are doing fine, and we have been praying that our heavenly Father continues to bless you and keep your good health.

I am humble and happy to write to you to thank you for your huge support of this Frontline Church Partner. The gift has boosted the improvement of the children’s learning infrastructure at the center — including creating a more hygienic environment, buying kitchen supplies and equipping offices and classrooms.

These funds have been of great help, as they have supported children’s well-being. Staff are implementing the program well. This work also has been successful due to the additional local resources and workforce contributed by the church and caregivers. Thank you for helping us serve children in need.
